What A Thrilling 48 Hours In Las Vegas!
I just spent a thrilling 48 hours in Las Vegas with my Goldman Sachs family at the Black Enterprise Women of Power Summit. The Women of Power Summit is a two-and-a-half-day professional leadership conference for women of color. In addition to attending a gala that honored activist Tamika Mallory, best selling author and prize-winning journalist A’lelia Bundles (great-granddaughter of Madam CJ Walker), the civil rights legal genius Sherilyn Ifill, gospel singer Yolanda Adams and billionaire entrepreneur Janice Bryant Howroyd … and a luncheon for the amazing Ms. Dionne Warwick, I had the chance to spend some quality time with some of the women at Goldman Sachs that I’ve met through the 10,000 Small Business Program.

Effie’s Paper Created Special Event Swag
The cherry on top? Goldman Sachs was one of the event’s sponsors and they asked Effie’s Paper to create their swag to help kick off their One Million Black Women initiative. We had the opportunity to create their notebooks (which arrived just in time for the event!) and their t-shirts for the second day of the conference. There is no better feeling than being surrounded by a group of women who want to see each other succeed. Plus, my friend Jessica Taylor, the National Director of 10,000 Small Businesses, used her Black Girl Magic Pouch as her evening bag… because what better time to use it than at one of the ultimate Black Girl Magic Gatherings! What Happens In Vegas…
Don’t mind me …. I’m still on Cloud 9 over here … I know what happens in Vegas is supposed to stay in Vegas, but I just had to share! It was also nice to be traveling and meeting people in person again. Such a great way to close out Women’s History Month 🌸.

Happy Wednesday lovelies! I hope that you have a great day.
Stylishly Yours,
Kalyn.
