I met Malene Barnett, a textile designer and all-around badass, in NYC through mutual friends.  We’ve been riding the entrepreneurial roller coaster together since 2017.

Why Do Accountability Partners Matter?

  1. Motivation: Knowing that someone else is invested in your success can be a powerful motivator. It’s like having a teammate in the game of this thing called entrepreneurship.
  2. Consistency: Accountability partners help you stay on track. When you commit to regular check-ins or updates, you’re more likely to stay on track.
  3. Feedback and Guidance: They provide fresh perspectives and valuable feedback. Sometimes, all it takes is a different viewpoint to overcome an obstacle.
  4. Celebration of Wins: They’re there to celebrate your victories, no matter how small. Another person recognizing your achievements can help to boost your morale and keep you going.
